DESIGN & COMFORT
Yes, QC II is all about comfort. You can wear these headphones anywhere, and you will not perspire. The ease of handling and the comfort of wearing, combined with listening pleasure are an absolutely superb combination. On the right cup, there are easy-to-use control buttons. On the left side, we have a button to activate Google Assistant. These are over-ear headphones that perfectly cover the ears.
WHAT ABOUT SOUND?
Apart from the excellent comfort, we also want the headphones for listening to the music and other audio. Bear in mind, these headphones are designed primarily for outside use. By this I mean, when traveling, for example, by bus, train and so on. The QuietComfort 35 II has pretty good sound, but not at the audiophile level. But when you take these headphones out and use the active noise canceling, you can’t compare the sound. All the frequencies are balanced. Basses are perfectly nuanced, which satisfies my pro metal heart. Lovers of other music genres will also love these headphones. Jazz and classical music sounds awesome.
CONNECTIVITY AND FEATURES
QuietComfort 35 II is primarily designed for Android. To pair your phone with these headphones is easy. What I like is the capability to connect more than one device. When you connect it to a phone or laptop, just start playing media on one device, and you will be able to listen to it through your headphones. To play from the second device, simply pause the current media on the first device and then play the new media on the other device.
There is a button on the left side that can be used to activate Google Assistant and also to cancel noise. The noise canceling will take effect when Google Assistant is disabled. These headphones can be used both wired and wireless. The battery gives us about 20-hours of wireless operation. Wired has unlimited battery time, but when noise canceling is on, we have about 40-hours.
All these features are excellent, however, it may happen that you receive a phone call when you are listening to music. From this moment, noise canceling turns off and you hear everything around you, even during your call. This can be annoying.
I did not try to connect the QC35 II with an iPhone, however, I have read other reviews that were not so happy with the connectivity or the comfort.
WHOM ARE THESE PHONES MADE FOR?
If you are a freelancer working in a cafeteria, or a student studying in a noisy area, these headphones will isolate you from the outside clamour. You will enjoy your music at a high level of quality. Your comfort may be spoiled by Google Assistant and other features that are included. Also, if you like heavy music with a good bass, these headphones are made for you. On the other hand, if you are an audiophile and you are listening to music at home, you would probably use another headphone.
- Supports Google Assistant.
- Good sound quality.
- Feature rich.
- Not designed for audiophiles.
- Connectivity with iPhones should be improved.
